Announces: Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program

 

DATE: Deadline for applications March 17, 2017

 

Kent Black Action Commission (KBAC) is very excited to announce our new partnership with Girls Who Code (GWC). GWC is a national non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. In keeping with this mission GWC is conducting Summer Immersion Programs throughout the country.

The Summer Immersion Program is free and runs for 7 weeks. The program is for current 10th and 11th grade girls. The classrooms are in leading technology companies like Facebook, Microsoft, and AT&T. The application process is competitive and will close on March 17, 2017. Applications are by on-line submission.
