Invitations have gone out to candidates for the November general election to include; Mayor, City Council, County Sheriff, and School Board. This is an opportunity for the citizens of Kent to gain first-hand knowledge of the people that are vying to hold public office and to represent your interest. We encourage all residents of Kent, King County, and other interested parties to attend!
The forum will be moderated with the moderator directing questions to the candidates. We will allow time to collect questions from those in attendance so that those questions can be compiled and asked of the candidates.
Because of the size of the field this year we will have two separate forums on two separate dates. The first forum will be held on October 13, 2017. The invitees for the first forum are candidates for county sheriff, school board and mayor. The second forum will be held on October 20, 2017. The invitees are candidates for city council.
This event is free and open to the public. KBAC will provide light refreshments.
