Billing & Legal Operations Coordinator
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Fully Onsite)
Compensation: $55,000-$70,000

A well-established law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Billing Coordinator to support financial and administrative functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with billing processes, client communications, and legal operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and process client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate with attorneys, staff, and clients to resolve billing inquiries and payment issues
• Monitor retainers and trust balances, applying funds and communicating with clients as needed
• Review and revise billing information, including time entries and expense allocations
• Submit invoices through various electronic billing platforms and client portals
• Assist with new matter intake, conflict reviews, and file setup procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and billing documentation
• Support additional administrative and operational projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of billing, accounting, or legal operations experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong understanding of billing practices and financial processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and professional judgment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with legal billing software or e-billing platforms is a plus
