KBAC Action – Up Mtg & Open House

The public is invited to meet with us as we make initial plans for our 2018 events and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to come and see what KBAC is all about and join us in our endeavors.

In the memory of Linda Sweezer

Our sister Linda was taken away from us way too soon. She had so much more to do here on earth and now we still have much to do to honor her spirit.   There will be a Candle Light Vigil on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Burlington Green Park located at the SW corner of Smith St and N Railroad in Kent, WA 98032. We will gather at 5:30 pm and have a very short program at 6:00 pm

October Candidates Forums 10/13 & 10/20

Clothing for the Survivors of the Texas Flood

In anticipation of the need in Huston and all of southeast Texas KBAC is conducting a clothing drive. Starting Saturday September 2, 2017 we will start collecting items at C&H Hair and Beauty Supplies located at 24228 104th Ave. SE, Kent, WA 98030, (253)854-4229  Please donate your gently used clean clothing items to support what is going to be a massive need. May 13, 2017 Action – Up Meeting

May 13, 2017 3:00 – 5:30 pm Kent Commons 525 4th Ave N, Kent, WA 98032 This month’s meeting will feature a conversation with Deborah Jacobs the Director of the newly formed Office of Law Enforcement Oversight for King County. Juneteenth planning will also be discussed. We are looking for volunteers for event set-up and breakdown, food service, registration table staff, general support, and voter registration staff.
